West Chiltington Silver Band
West Chiltington Silver Band has a long history, with its origins dating back to 1908. They are a friendly, non-contesting band consisting of local enthusiastic musicians of mixed abilities and ages. Everyone wishing to join is welcome, although absolute beginners may find some of the music a little bit challenging. Instruments can be provided for new players to borrow, if required.
The Band rehearses every Wednesday at 8.00pm in St. Mary’s Church Hall, in West Chiltington village and enjoy playing at local events throughout the year. If you’d like to hear them play, take a look at their future gigs list to see where they are playing next, or have a listen to a past performance on their video reel.

She has BA Hons in Band Studies (majoring in conducting), MA in Psychology for Musicians and LRSM. Her experience is very wide ranging and encompasses all levels of ability from championship bands to complete beginners /community bands, directing both adult and youth bands. She is also a really nice person!
