Smyth’s Educational Foundation
The Smyth’s Educational Foundation was determined by an Order of Charity on 6 October 1903, from the Charity of William Smyth, founded by Will dated 12 September 1634.
The Foundation aims to provide financial assistance to those supporting young people within West Chiltington Parish or young parishioners of West Chiltington. Grants may be given to those in education, supporting education within the Parish or developing their educational interests. This could be in the form of book tokens to support study, organisations like pre-schools, youth clubs, Brownies and Guides or supporting an educational trip.
If you live within the Parish, or if your organisation supports young people living in the Parish, Smyth’s Educational Foundation may be able to help you.
Applications must be made in writing, outlining the reason you are requesting financial support. The letter needs to be sent to the Headmaster, Mr J. Rose at West Chiltington Community First School, East Street, West Chiltington, RH20 2JY or the Treasurer, Clerk at The Parish Office, Church Street, West Chiltington, RH20 2JW. The link to the school website can be found here.
We look forward to receiving your application.
